How do I clear a stage, beat a Boss Exam, or win the Daily Challenge?
- Stage: score 70% or better. Retry as often as you like — your best score is kept and never lowered.
- Boss Exam: score 80% or better to defeat the boss (+50 coins).
- Daily Challenge: three questions; 50% or better clears it (+25 coins) and keeps your streak alive.
How does the day streak work — and why did mine reset?
Play on consecutive calendar days and the streak grows; playing twice in one day doesn't double-count. Miss a day and it starts over at 1. A three-day streak earns the "On Fire" badge.
How do XP, levels, and ranks work?
Every 120 XP is a level. Ranks unlock as you level up: Cloud Cadet, Junior Engineer (level 3), Cloud Architect (5), Senior Architect (8), Cloud Wizard (12), Cloud Sage (16), and Cloud Legend (20). Badges have their own conditions — clearing stages, beating bosses, finishing labs and CTF challenges, and keeping streaks.
Which certifications are covered?
Quiz tracks and 36 flashcard decks spanning AWS (Cloud Practitioner through Professional and Specialty, including AI, ML, data, DevOps, networking, security, SysOps and developer exams), Azure (AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305 and Azure AI), Google Cloud (Digital Leader through the Professional certs), Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud, and AI decks on Anthropic Claude and OpenAI — plus hands-on network and security labs and Capture-the-Flag challenges. Content is being expanded; decks vary in depth.
Why does it ask for my name and an email or phone?
Only to label your local profile. The contact field is optional and nothing is ever sent — there's no server. The six-digit "verification code" is generated on your device and shown right on screen for the same reason. Think of it as a profile switcher, not an account.
How do I reset my progress or switch profiles?
On your profile screen, Reset all progress clears XP, coins, streaks, badges, and scores (it can't be undone) but keeps your profile name. Sign out switches profiles without erasing anything. To remove everything, including profiles, delete the app.
Does it work offline? Does it use data?
Yes, completely offline — every question, deck, and lab ships inside the app, and it makes no network requests. The only time it touches the internet is if you tap a Share button, which opens Safari.
Does it sync between my iPhone and iPad?
Not yet. Profiles and progress live only on the device where you created them.
